1997 Honda CR80 Restoration

The 1997 Honda CR80 is our favorite of the CR80s we grew up racing. The year prior, Honda made its first major updates to the CR80 in 1o years. No only were these updates visually appealing, but the change in power made the CR80 an "on-the-pipe", top-end, revving monster.

This bike was the first bike we had that had some very cool power-boosting mods on. Our race bike was completely legal, but we had three different pipe & silencer sets and a bored out carburator. We also had Applied Racing triple clamps, with oversided 1-1/8", O.G. Pro Taper Bars, which were pretty revolutionary at that time on an 80cc machine.
